The first NYE we spent in San Antonio was back in 2010 or so when we were at Ft Hood and just came back from overseas.

Kids wanted to go to Fiesta Texas, so we did. I remember being on 410 headed to Lackland AFB where we were staying and thinking Holy Sh*t there’s a ton of cordite in the air.

My second thought was how much of that was unburned and what would it take for a flash explosion.

San Antonio puts on a really good NYE party. We've been a number of times and had a blast each time.

Yeah, it was so great that it caused our air quality to drop to "very unhealthy!"
