Your meme implied that homeless people would be dead in the street if COVID was a serious disease.

It isn’t that homeless people don’t get sick and die, (probably at slightly higher rates than average. . . Which is still 1-2% depending on age and risk factors) but in 2021 anyone can get treatment at hospitals and ED’s. And there still is 98ish percentage of homeless people left after COVID kinda means homeless camps look the same.

I thought that was obvious. Sorry if it wasn’t clear.

Homeless people who are sick go to Emergency Departments for treatment. Homeless people who are very sick, in general, don't lay on the sidewalk waiting to die. In encampments like that if someone gets really sick someone will call 911 for EMS to take them to the ED. If they are sick enough they'll be admitted to the hospital and if they don't make it they die in the hospital, not in the streets.

If a homeless person dies in the streets it's most likely from violence or drug overdose and their bodies aren't left laying around for a photo op.

The sad thing is that you believe that photo proves something.
