What the actual fûck?Here is a link to a very good article by Allen West about CV19. It is well worth reading.
Then I would suspect that she does not have covid.I have a family friend who spent 21 days in the hospital, mostly on a ventilator. She tested negative for Covid 19 5 times.

...This is where antibody testing would be helpful. . . if I trusted the antibody test to be specific which I’m not sure on.
Of course I’m not sure. But if I was tested 5 times and came back negative all 5 times I would suspect that I did not have whatever they were testing for.You so sure?
I know nothing of the above poster’s case, but if they had suggestive imaging findings, lab findings, and a history, then I probably would treat the patient as having COVID despite a negative test.
The tests aren’t perfect, and its very likely at some point there isn’t viral particles to detect.

I was on a phone meeting and someone asked about a patient who had 5 negative tests, then a 6th one that was positive. . . .wth do you do with that? Were the first ones false negative? Was the last one a false positive? Did the patient get infected while in the hospital?

So, evidently there are like 80 "wet markets" in New York.
Who'd a thunk.....
Yup. Seen a couple in China Town when we were there over Thanksgiving. I don’t think an NUC wet market is the same as a Chinese One.
Betcha there’s a more than a few in San Francisco and LA, too.
