Just out of curiosity I do not need this done this is just for my curiosity. If you take all the parts for an ar build, everything from bare lower and upper to a gunsmith about how much would they charge to assemble it? nothing is put together at all just a pile of parts everything that is needed.

Anything over $15.00 is too much.

With that being said, a true gunsmith should probably get $40.00.
A guy who knows how to assemble an AR-15 and has the tools to do it is the $15.00 guy.
Probably take less than 20 minutes.

    I've done it too.
15 is about what it's worth to me.
Not that I'd actually pay someone to do something I can do for myself.

thanks for the reply's again it was just for curiosity. I do all my own work to my guns except for things that I do not have the tools for like threading a barrel.

I'm lazy, I do it all the time.

Oil change, car wash, mow grass, etc....

Yard service charges me $50 to mow, trim, etc. a half-acre yard. Did the math - between equipment purchase and maintenance, he's a bargain.

Some folks can put together a nice AR. Others shouldn't be allowed near ANY kind of DIY project, much less a gun - we get 'em in the shop pretty routinely. Especially funny are the ones that "polished the ramp" on their 1911 with their dremel. You ever seen the look on someone's face when you tell 'em that they just destroyed the frame? BUT - he saved money doing something that didn't need to be done.....

Damn straight, I worked hard to be able to be lazy...

There's lots of things I used to think I would do myself forever, but as i get older, I realize it's ok to pay people to do them. I like to think of it as stimulating the economy.
