My local tax/title office, sheriffs office, and drivers licence office all share the same building. There's also a small courtroom in there (No clue why since the main courthouse is a few blocks away). So am I not allowed to carry in the building at all-or just not in the courtroom?
You cannot carry on any premises of a court or offices utilized by the court. Premises means a building or portion of a building. So the law could read that you cannot carry in a building of a court.
One could argue that since the definition of premises includes the phrase "portion of a building", only the "portion" of the buildingnwhere the court resides would be off limits.
