The third Saturday of every month; in Dritwood, Texas, the Tejas Caballeros gather to form Posses and take care of all local varmints!

Sanctioned by the Single Action Shooter's Society; young, old, boys, girls, grumpy old men and the most beautiful ladies arrive in their 19th century period correct finery to conduct a shooting match.

"Stages" are set up at our range. Our range consists of facades built to resemble main street USA, Circa 1875. We have a saloon, livery, undertaker's office and others fronting the downrange steel targets set up to be shot in a pre-stated sequence with six guns, rifles and shotguns. We use live soft lead ammo, a timer and miss counters to stack rank us for the competition.

New shooters and spectators are always welcome. All are invited to watch and/or participate.

Check the website www.TejasCaballeros.com for details and a map. We are 3.3 miles east of the Salt Lick on County Road 967. Our stock gate is 1/4 mile past the fancy front entrance to the Rutherford Cattle Ranch on the south side of the road.

    Hammers down at 9:00 AM.

We would love to see you!
