    Draft picks are only important if the team has someone that knows how to pick good players. The Cowboys have not had one since Jimmy Johnson left.

    Johnson was very good at recognizing talent. He had spent 4 years coaching and coaching against all those picks. So he had a solid knowledge of who could do what.
