    This range was 10 minutes from the house, so easy to go there. Happily paid for an annual membership for access. The RO's were freindly and helpful.

    I just bought a 1911 a few months ago because I was hitting the range so often I needed another pistol to keep thing interesting.

    Urgh back to the hunt for the perfect range......

    Search for gun clubs, not just ranges. When you find one you like, buy another gun to celebrate.

    Yeah - it still had the new range smell! I'll look for 'clubs' as well, good tip.
