If it ever happens, that is. Ted Cruz has accepted a challenge from Alyssa Milano to debate gun ownership and constitutional rights. I am thinking it may not happen as I would expect that she would come out a figurative bloody pulp. Cruz is a good debater and tends to know his stuff. She, on the other hand, is a narcissistic airhead with no moral compass.

You don’t debate people like this on a stage in order to convince them or their followers. You do it to put their crazy front and center, make reasonable arguments, and win over the millions of people who don’t spend every waking hour on twitter or watching Fox News/CNN.

Most of the country doesn’t pay attention and only has a foggy idea of where they stand and why.
