There is a Funeral Museum in Houston and it has a large collection of custom coffins, antique embalming equipment and Hearses. They try to keep a positive and even humorous tone.

There is a large hearse that was used in San Francisco. It looked like a 2 1/2 ton truck with room enough for the coffin and benches for all of the mourners. It was going up a steep hill when the hearse did a wheelie dumping the mourners and the coffin in the street! The place is a hoot!
