    Just back ordered some of these (.458) anyone have any experience with these?

    I don’t have any experience with those, but I have shot some 405 grain hard cast lead. My rifle doesn’t shoot them accurately and they kick like a bay mule! I forget the brand of bullet, and don’t feel like digging them out to look at the box.

    I've got 2 or 3 rounds of405 grn. Remington jfp loaded over 45 grains of reloader 7 that Marlin 1895cb kicks like a mother also have 400grn Barnes Originals loaded over 52 grains of h4895 appx same velocity 1790 fps with 24" barrel per Hodgdon. The above bullets are specifically for a brand new 1885 highwall 32" barrel.
    Cutting Edge Ballistics claims load same as Barnes bullets?
