    Dark times, but it had to be done. Can only imagine the waiting, and cannot fathom the actual combat that alot of these guys faced. I don't care how far on auto-pilot you are, storming a beach full of pissed off, and experienced German soldiers with machine guns takes massive quantities of mas macho. Those guys in the 2nd RB and 1-29 caught holy hell, but they took the beachhead... even after scaling bluffs in some instances and charging over open fields of fire.
