I guess i should pick up one of these...

I bought a Remington Model 700 some years ago in 204, so I have dies for reloading.

So if you decide to get one, bring some reloading supplies and we can have a reloading party!

And they are wickedly fast and accurate too.

Apparently the Senate confirmation vote for/against Chipman is tomorrow morning at 9... In spite of the missing personnel files that document his loss of his duty weapon and the EEO discrimination complaints against him (this information comes by way of Emily Miller ("Emily Got Her Gun")).

Business as usual among the government elite.

Oddly enough, until I went researching the .204 in order to make a snarky comment, I didn't realize it was based on the .222 Remington Magnum. Cool. Now I've got a new source for 7x47 brass. Maybe I can resurrect my sister's old silhouette pistol.

It's a neat little round. Fast, as much of the factory ammo with a 32 gr. bullet exceeds 4200 fps in velocity, very accurate and very gently in recoil. With 40 gr. bullets, it will still exceed 3800 fps in velocity as well. It is devastating on varmints.

At those speeds, I bet those little bullets can be made to go through just about any body armor...
