Dawson Custom Knives

I met a guy at the SAXET show today named Russell Florrow who is a local distributor for Dawson.

Dawson Knives is an up and coming competitor to Chris Reeve knives and having handled the Dawson blades at his table I have to say that the balance and craftmanship is superb. He told me the knives are made by a fellow named Barry Dawson, so I just wanted to post to let you guys know to keep an eye out for them. Very nice blades.

I saw those as well, but was unfamiliar with the maker. The "Deep Notch Skinner" caught my eye... excellent craftsmanship, IMHO. I need another knife like I need another hole in my head, so I passed.
