    A man is dead following a standoff between police and an armed man near IKEA in Grand Prairie.

    Police say they responded to a welfare check for a person inside a black, four-door Cadillac near Mayfield and Robinson roads at 1:30 Monday afternoon.

    Truly sad...that Ikea would post 30.06 and 30.07 signs. I haven't shopped there in years. Looks like years more to come with me not shopping there.

    They sell a bunch of crap anyway, you ain't missing a thing.

    My daughter bought a couple of things for her room. When she moved it went straight to the curb in pieces. Its junk.

    I thought about going there when it opened. Then I looked them up on the Texas3006 app and decided against it. I went to the one up in Frisco a few years ago. It sucks.

    I don't go anywhere without my gun unless absolutely forced to.

    The one in GP is worse.
    The Frisco one is two floors. Top floor to look at all the furniture and stuff, and restaurant. Bottom floor: knick knocks and accessories and picking up the furniture you picked out earlier.
    The GP store is just one giant damn mace.

    That is not good. The perp never left his car in a remote-ish area of the parking lot but a large group, unable to move, is not good. Scattering through any available emergency exit might have been better
