I like Bruce Willis, but he ain't no Charlie Bronson. Why can't Hollyweird come up with original movies instead of remaking classics? They didn't get any of my hard earned money for remaking Rooster Cogburn, Walking Tall, or Magnificent Seven, and I don't see them getting any for this one either.

I thought the rooster cogburn remake was pretty good. Just can't compare John Wayne to anyone else.

Ya, Hollywood was ok till they recovered from the anti commie purge. What gets me is that the people who control a large portion of Hollywood, largely Jewish producers, will allow insidious infiltration of the kind of people and ideas that contributed to the holocaust. Same with electing politicians who are fighting to enact the same policies of control the Nazis enacted in the 30s.

I scratch my head. They will blackball one person for a drunken outburst but ran over folks to get Charlie sheen a new series after the crap he said.

Maybe that contradiction is why they can't get their sheit together. That and they are too busy planting the seeds of their own destruction. They are soo stupid they forget who is the first group purged at the beginning of any socialist utopia, the intellectuals artists and rich undesirables they used to spread their message. You know the basket Hillary was getting ready to destroy when she misdirected everyone in that group with her deplorable talk. Dont worry about this, look at these deplorables. Marxist playbook page one play one.

The rest of the cast look decent too. Chicago as the setting. We'll see if they can pull it off. The originals were dirty. I don't think Bruce Willis can pull off the CrAzy eyes of Mr Bronson. The nothing smug or forgiving eyeball gaze. Bronson had a purple heart. Bruce Willis has...Hollywood make up artists and pedicures.

We'll see.....if they jack up another movie retread. Let's hope it's not a bunch of white bashing, social warrior crap.

I just watched the original for the first time ever last week. Outstanding movie. I use to carry a screwdriver in my laptop bag when I was going to college in NYC for "fixing my laptop". Wish I could have carried a smokewagon like he did in the movie but thankfully I never got into any fights or anything.

If you ever go to NYC, dont be on the subways past 10pm and stay in Manhattan

If they insist on remakes, they could do worse than DW and Bruce Willis.

At least he's in the same political universe that I'm in, and the original was outstanding.

Seems like the movie airplane was wrong all those years ago. I remember a poster in the airport advertising a Rocky movie when he was an old man. Guess they picked the wrong franchise.

Saw it last night. I thought it was good. Lots of dirtbags getting gunned down. Pro 2A for the most part(it is still hollywood). Bruce Willis is also one of us so it is a movie worth going to

So, is that a yes, or a no, for the new Death Wish?

I took my daughter to see Toy Story when it first came out. That's the last movie I went to see. You're asking the wrong person questions about movies.

I asked the question due to having zero idea what post #14 meant, that's all.

I asked the question due to having zero idea what post #14 meant, that's all.

Rocky was the movie series that had more sequels than anything else. The movie Airplane 2 came out in 1982 and made fun of the fact that the Rocky series had so many sequels that it put a movie advertisement poster, in the future about Rocky (whatever high number they used) and showed an underweight, semi frail, gray haired, old man with boxing gloves on making fun of the fact that movie studios would milk every dollar they could out of a movie franchise. (made even funnier by the fact that this was done in a sequel itself)

There may be an age gap here, so perhaps I should have clarified my post a little better, or just kept it to myself.
