It appears it shot through the deers eyes. You can see the tear/break between the eyes when he holds its head up.
There are few bullets that readily expand so it's not gonna explode like a .17 HMR on squirrels. Even the amax with aluminum tips are iffy on expansion, and that's using them against much tougher game such as elk.
The vaccuum did not suck the deers eyeballs out. And his "play it back slow" was still way too fast to show what he claims.
