Demolition Derbys?

I used to go to demolition derbys in west Texas back in the '80s. Any derbys still around, hopefully in the Austin area? I want to share the experience with my son. He loves the idea and wants to see one.

They used to have them at Speedorama, which later became Longhorn Speedway. It was down on 183 past the airport. That track is nothing but a worn out relic these days.

Try streets and Highways around Dakkas & Ft. Worth during heavy rain, icy conditions, and/or snow........Takin' your lifein your own hands, they don't seem to know how to drive, Oh and the 18 Wheelers jacknifing here and there....."Poor Man"s Destruction Derby"
