Sitting at my desk on a conference call, and had this lying next to a loaded mag, meaning this was in thr chamber of my p220 at some point.

Federal JHP (factory ammo). Don't remember which line of ammo...

guess it doesn't matter either way, replacing all my HD/SD with HST. Just been carrying my P320 daily and wife's nightstand is a 9mm.

But I did finally get a new clip and wing for my P220 IWB, so I will probably start rotating that in along with my XDs

The only time I worry about them is if they are deep enough to deform the case, have a sharp crease or a gouge with a sharp edge. Sharp edges in metal tend to cause weak points.

My .45 critical defense does that, but it looks like it's from pushing another round on it to load the mag

If you use it for reloading you may want to look at it, but as long as no metal was removed when the crease was made, there should be no problem.

Front story - shoot it. Back story - reloading a bunch of 9mm rounds. Aguila brass had the same indented waist around it. A bit too much crimp - the brass bulged at the waist. If it chambered, no prob.

Thats not too bad. I've loaded .45 brass in worse shape. Shoots just fine the small dents will iron out after firing.
