Looking at the class offered by Bass Pro Shop, the DFW Gun Range, and I believe someone associate with Cheaper than Dirt offers one as well. Any recomendations of a good class in the DFW area? The one at the DFW GUn Range looks appealing as the $125 fee covers the cost of everything.

DFW uses several instructors. You will be fingerprinted by a woman who does fingerprints at the Dallas County Jail prisoner intake. She rarely has print issues. The instructors vary in quality, but you should not get fed any BS by any of them. I know personally 4 of them.

The place that does the one at Cabela's on 35w is pretty good too. About the same price and everything is covered. You just mail packet.

I have their card but not right here with me, if you want it.

Safe-Shot in Ft. Worth is taught by Keith McGuire, a FW Police detective. Good guy, knows his stuff, very entertaining & informative class.
