I know Bass Pro and Cabelas has powder, but they don't have that big of selection. Where are other sources of powder in the area? How are their prices? Seems like when I want to try a different powder out they never have it at cabela's etc. Any input would be appreciated. Let me know any places and cities that they are in so I can look them up. Also, if you think they are decent prices. I don't like bass pro as they are always a few dollars more per pound than cabelas and I remember gander mountain was a joke as they are always really high on their prices. (I know they are not in the area, it was just an example).

    Thanks!

Bullet Trap and Gun Master in Plano usually have a good supply of powder. Most powders are in the $25 - $30 lb range. Not always the cheapest but definitely convenient for me.

Look up Buffalo Creek Trap Club. It's on Hwy 64 W of Tyler abt 20 mi. They have more powder at better prices than I have seen in a long time. The have H4350 in 1 lb and 8 lb(<$200). I saw Bullseye @ $149/ 8lb IIRC. Good prices on primers too. CCI BR2 for under $40.

Academy has more powder these days than I've ever seen at an Academy.

WHen I order powder, I almost always get it from Powder Valley. They generally have the best price, and they ship quick. Go to their website and sign up for updates. They just had a primer sale with free hazmat.

Any particular powder you are looking for?

A member in the area may have a partial can they would sell.

I hate buying a pound and finding out I don't like it after just a few test loads.

Gunmaster is my goto powder supplier. If they don't have it in stock, ask to be put on the list for when it comes in. You can call them to see if they have what your looking for.

Last week they still had the same six powders they've had for well over a year.
