Iv always though dicks was way way overpriced. Cabelas they are ok.
In Minnesota we have scheels, runnings and fleet farm where prices are usually decent, but the selection is not the greatest.

All of us, every one of us, should support our LOCAL GUN SHOP.

If we don't we'll ALL BE SORRY !

    Very, very SORRY !

Gotta be careful with some of them. Some places charge double because they don't get business! That's why a lot of people don't go to them

Yeah, it would have been hard for me to dish out the $400 more for the last gun I bought. There was only one local store that had it in stock. I will say it was a Texas business, Grabagun, that I did buy it from.

I went to a shop in Jourdanton,TX looking for .300BLK. Granted it's already expensive enough but the guy wanted $35 for 20rd of fmj...

In some circles, that's known as a death spiral - (the worse it gets, the worse it gets) but this (LGS) will be saved by the next panic. BTW, has anyone noticed that PSA is out of "everything" in the way of AR kits? :what:

And that 1 gun shop is super expensive. But they do have almost everything you could be looking for in inventory.

Whats wrong with Cheaper Than Dirt?
After Sandy Hook, they priced AR and Mini-14 mags at $90 each, briefly stopped selling AR's (including canceling orders that were in process, if I recall), then re-introduced them at greatly inflated prices, and priced their .223 and 5.56 ammo astronomically high...counting on scarcity caused by panic buying to move their stock at ridiculous prices.
