I am more into sporting clays myself. It’s a good mix of trap and skeet, plus a few darting doves and a rabbit or two thrown in for fun.
There's a course out here I've thought about checking out but hoo dogs it's expensive.

When I lived in Odessa, but before I joined Midland Shooters Association, I frequented one in Midland that cost me $175 for my son and I to shoot and the cart rental. After I joined MSA it was $25 for my son and I to shoot, and the cart rental was only $15. We could also buy a flat of name brand shells there for less than academy's generic shells. That made sporting clays a much more economical hobby. There's a course out here I've thought about checking out but hoo dogs it's expensive.
