Can anyone here tell me what is the difference in a .38/.357 Carbide die set as compared
to a .38/ .357 Carbide cowboy die set ? Is the Sizer Carbide the same on both die sets .?
I load mostly cast boolits on my DW .357 and some factory also. Just wondering if their is any difference in these die sets other then price .

I don't know for sure but the carbide sizing die should be the same. The only difference should be the seating/crimp die with the seating ram on the cowboy set up for lead bullets and the standard set up with a ram for hp/fmj round nose bullets.

Ok. Sounds good enough for me Mikewood. Thanks. Gonna try to get just the sizer Carbide next to keep from using what is already set-up for my DW Revolver.

The expander and crimp dies are machined specifically for use with cast boolits which as we know, generally run .001 -.002 larger diameter. For my cast loads, I prefer the Lyman M die; there is much less shaving of the lead with the M die due to the way that it expands the case mouth.
