I think you need to be LEO to buy the 12 rnd mags that came with gun. All I see are MA law issues, no federal crimes. It say straw purchase but article did not give evidence of it.

Since Texas does not have restrictions, it would be nothing. At most a violation of Glock policies.

Gifting a gun isn't a crime unless she paid him for the gun in advance of the purchase....or she was prohibited already....

Police Officers can buy on Dept Letterhead and avoid 4473. So a forged Letterhead caused dealer to make an a incorrect entry.

As a civilian, she can't buy LEO only deals....

When we sold guns to LEO's for duty w/o 4473, I had them put the Manufacturer, model # and Serial number in the letter also.....not required though....

A "straw purchase" is when you lie on the 4473 or other legal doc about being the actual buyer or buying for official purposes. Has nothing to do with the end user status, though if they were prohibited that would be an add on crime.
