I make kydex holsters as a hobby but I prefer leather holsters. I plan on going to Tandy Leather to pick up some tools and leather this weekend. I've been watching a lot of how to videos on youtube and it looks like a good hobby/trade to learn.

Do any of y'all make leather holsters? I'd like to see some of y'alls leather projects if you care share, even if it's not holsters.

This new hobby will keep me busy during the Corona lockdown.

I make and sell a fair number of holsters. As I am allegedly retired, it gives me something to do and make a little money. My stuff is simple, mostly IWB concealment holsters. PM me if you want more information, I might be able to help..

TxBigfoot - If you're interested, PM me a shipping address and I will send you a handful of leather working tools I haven't touched in years. Nothing fancy mind you, punches, awls, lacing needles, stuff like that. But its all clean and looks pretty much like new. I'll drop them in the mail.

All hand cut and hand stitched. No machines. I make all my own patterns. The tools I use take up less room than any of my other hobbies.
