    I moved the post above to this new thread because I thought it deserved separate discussion.

    When the narrator starts talking about...
    ...the number of babies we kill...
    ...he kinda loses me. Sanctions don't kill babies. The willingness of despotic rulers to sacrifice their own people in order to remain in power kills babies.

    I find the video, overall, unpersuasive.

    The video sounds like a propaganda piece written by a moron who thinks tyrants can be removed from power with the power of positive thinking and group hugs.

    Anyone using the term "the number of babies we kill" needs to include their position on abortion.

    Sanctions work when they are implemented with the goal of working. See Trumps sanctions against Iran as an example. Often time, sanctions are not really supposed to work. They are supposed to make the masses happy that we are doing something to show our disapproval.
