Texas Law Shield... I always fear there will come a time that I have to defend myself or somebody else and it will be in an anti-carry area. The DA and the Police are not friendly. A lawyer might be the equalizer.

If you aren't wealthy enough to afford the best lawyers money can buy or you are satisfied with a court appointed lawyer, then it is something you don't need. I also have Texas Law Shield just so I don't lose everything I own due to a self defense shooting, God forbid.

I am wondering if I can have two? I like TLS as well as USCCA. I wonder if I could combine them both to work together. Only about $700 a year.

I already have TLS and between the two they have about everything I could think of. Somethings are unlimited on one and on the other has a cap. One has some benefits the other doesn't have.

I have the full coverage with all the add ons for $16.85 a month (US/Texas Law Shield). That was the special long ago when I signed up and supposedly won't ever change. But there are some things that are covered/better by USCCA or CCWSAFE that I would be willing to pay extra for. It would end up about $700 a year for both.

Why both? According to the chart CCWsafe beats txlawshield in every way.

I know a guy that killed someone in self defense. Besides the five years of hell fighting for his life in our legal system, it cost him over $200K.

Needless to say, he is NOW a believer in CCW attorney retainer plans.

I have USCCA for both my wife and I. I think I have the silver plan...

Edited. Actually, I checked and have the platinum plan (middle plan). It’s not too expensive with the military discount they offer.
