The 2x6 frame makes a big difference on stiffness, I did the same.
My press is on and off with 2 bolts. Homemade bracket screwed under table for bolts. I build rifles on the same table, so I need to remove them for the extra room.

I did 2X6 frame and double 3/4 plywood top
That things harder than Chinese math

The only downfall on a 2X6 frame is that some presses could mount directly on the edge but need more clearance underneath
    Like the Square Deal
I had to use the elevated strong mount or have to mount it forward a good bit for clearance
    I dont mind though
I'm 6"5 and like them sitting higher

Curious why the envelops over the presses.

6-5, I bet you table is taller than mine to.
I only 1 sheet of plywood, but a web of 2x6 that makes 10x12 boxes underneath, then mount press on 2x6, hang it 2in. off table with bolts. Easy on easy off.

    Dust
A lot goes on in that shop
It's just easier than taking them off and storing
Yep I have dust problems also as the same space is used for wood working. I use a military laundry bag to cover the 550. All the loose stuff (bullet tray, calipers, case gauges, primer tray, case prep stuff, etc.) goes in a cardboard box and into a drawer when not in use.
