I've got a feeling it goes deeper than "frustration". There's too many similarities in all of the X'd Hummers over the last couple years. And it's apparently known there was an eco-terrorist group involved initially. My guess is that he may have been compelled by a group to turn himself in and to separate himself somehow, trying to make it appear as a random thing.

He was too good at what he did. But there is a line of owners waiting to help LEA's tie this guy to theirs and then get to the group.

I hope he sits in jail for a very long time also, but the environmental groups you name, and who knows what else he belongs to, have been hijacked by a bunch of socialist/communist whackos. Those groups are nothing more than left wing, anti-capitalist, political groupies promoting their left wing agenda. It only makes sense that he is a extremist from his actions as well as his affiliations.
I hope he not only gets jail time and a large fine but that he also has to pay for repairs on all Hummers they can prove he vandalised. He will be ok since I'm sure the above groups would pass the hat to pay his expenses and then treat him like a hero.

As a former owner of a BMW 3er, someone who worked at a BMW dealership, and someone who wants numerous BMWs in his dream garage, I can tell you that very few BMW owners are yuppies.

That aside, as it is neither here nor there...

I hope this guy spends a good, long time next to Bubba down in Huntsville playing "hide the tube steak", and he is where it gets hidden. I want nothing more than this man to feel the full financial burden (I've seen the bills of having a good enough paint job, and the ones of getting an excellent paint job, neither are cheap) and legal burden that can be dropped on him.

However, knowing our society, he will most likely be marked by the ultra left leaning enviroMENTALists and nut jobs as a hero, and if he gets a good lawyer, nothing more than a man standing up for a cause. And unless we get a good jury selection...He'll get the fine and a slap on the wrist.

I can really give a flying crap if one if wealthy beyond wildest dreams, because there are certain things in life that are worth far more than that. I certainly have some of these "things" and can tell you that there is'nt any amount of money that can possibly purchase them.

Apparently his wife drives an LX470. It happens to have been at DFW airport last year at the time my friends H2 was X key'd. For 8 minutes.
