Some years ago I was halfway up the ramp of Clingman's Dome and found what appeared to be an obvious pile of bear dung recently deposited. It was a scary thought that the bear may be on his way down to meet me. But I was young and dumb and kept going. Thankfully I found no bear.

Seen them several times on the Russian and Kenai rivers while fishing. They don’t care about people just fish, so just let them have the spot. Alaska fish and game days do not let the bear have your fish. Eff that he can have them all
