    Im new here to austin and to the forum and trying to find new ranges to go to. Use to go to the gander academy range in kansas with buddies but I dont think there is one here in austin. Any help will be a HUGE thanks.

    This is your view at reds. The bays have a metal shelf about belly high an the pistol side. I did see some different shots by googling Reds indoor range.

    I would go to Best of the West or Lonestar

    I'm curious as to why. Lonestar is about 25-30 miles from Austin and Red's is north and south austin. Since it is indoor it has target runners - no waiting for cease fires. I'm just curious - I haven't been to either - I go out to Eagles Peak in Leander.

    I don't like indoor ranges. Also Reds is often crowded. I've been to Eagle peak but they have too many rules for me.
