Does Texas have anything pending like the 'Montana Firearms Freedom Act'?

I actually looked in to this quite a bit and put it up on a forum sponsored by TSRA and it was quickly shot down by them so you would have to find another avenue to get it to our lawmakers.
I think it would take a lot of vocal support to get the attention of those in Washington.
Keep in mind that even with a law like this in Texas we would still be subject to the federal laws.
I still support the idea and think it would send a powerful message.
