    This is bad. Very bad.

Yep, but not unexpected. Remember, Garland’s boss gave SCOTUS the bird last summer over the whole COVID eviction moratorium. Then look at Sheldon Whitehouse and his crusade against the court. Garland is just following in his footsteps.

The problem is this entire administration and the formal Democrat party are so drunk with progressive/socialist activism that it’s tuned a lot of America out of politics.

I haven’t ever in my lifetime experienced a political administration so openly hostile to SCOTUS and to the Constitution in general.

So everyone knows what DOJ said, here’s the entire statement (it’s public domain, co copyright infringement).

Justice Department Statement on Supreme Court Ruling on New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc. v. Bruen

The Department of Justice today released the following statement from spokeswoman Dena Iverson following the Supreme Court’s decision in New York State Rifle & Pistol Association Inc., et al. v. Bruen, Superintendent of New York State Police, et al.:

“We respectfully disagree with the Court’s conclusion that the Second Amendment forbids New York’s reasonable requirement that individuals seeking to carry a concealed handgun must show that they need to do so for self-defense. The Department of Justice remains committed to saving innocent lives by enforcing and defending federal firearms laws, partnering with state, local and tribal authorities and using all legally available tools to tackle the epidemic of gun violence plaguing our communities.”

    Unheard of.

    The DOJ?
    How about Pentagon?

    ETA : I don't THINK it's a satire site?
“Now, women serving here stateside are going to be subject to the whims [of the states] that they are involuntarily assigned to.”

So service members can take NFA items, or other firearms, to any state they are stationed in now?

What does one expect when those in power think the Constitution is not a list of rules bit instead a suggestion that can be ignored?

What those in the government do not understand is that the powers of the Constitution is not to create a restraint on the people, but to restrain the government from over-using its power!
