    In 1988 I watched two young punks talk shit to a guy in his 40's in the West End in downtown Dallas as they were passing in a crosswalk. 40's guy wants to pass on by, but these two were hell bent on a fight.

    When it becomes obvious there is no way out of the fight the man grabs the first punk (1) and pulls him in close, and throws a punch over punk 1's shoulder and knocks punk 2 out cold. He then turned his undivided attention to punk 1 and just pounded on him until he was a puddle of ooze and leaves him in the intersection with punk 2, then calmly strolls away.

    I took a couple of lessons home w/ me that day and the one that stays with me the most is:
    Don't continue to harass someone who doesn't want to fight....they are probably doing you a favor.

    Great story! (but 40's isn't old, I was in the best shape of my life when I was in my early 40's)
