We just got back from a two-week vacation on the West Coast of the Republic of Panama. Stayed in three widely separated areas, outdoors a lot.
Didn't see a single Paloma.
Not a white wing, mourning dove, Aztec dove, blue rock pigeon, wood dove, ZERO for the entire time.
Hard to believe, but true !
