Not sure what I want to do with this safe queen, a few years ago I wanted an AR10 so I bought one. Turns out I prefer 308 in a bolt gun and have only shot the thing a couple of times. Round count is less than 100, so I'm trying to decide on what I want to do with it. If I trade it I'd be looking for an AK in some flavor or a PCC. If I modify it the idea is a 20" barrel, new stock, and free float the hand guard. Maybe at that point I'd shoot it more.
What are ya'lls thoughts or ideas?

    Somewhere in Texas!
Personally, I would keep it. I had two and regret selling them. ( Sold a number of pistols, revolvers, and rifles when my mother had cancer and I needed the extra money. I would do so again if needed!) The two I had were extremely accurate, and if you need to reach out and touch someone or something with rapid follow-up shots at a distance you already have it in your safe.

Post pictures please. I bought a DPMS AR-10 from a friend but he bought it back after a few years. Cool rifle but just too damn heavy.
    Here you go.

If you don't like it in 308, you can always change out the barrel to something else. You can change it to a 243, 260, 7mm-08, 338 Federal, 358 Winchester, or other's without changing anything but the barrel.
I would change to a Free floating handguard, and install a Superlative Arms adjustable gas block on it. Almost all large framed AR's are way over gassed, and an adjustable gas block will tame the recoil down quite a bit.

    I've got a LR-260H and it's a killing machine on hog's and deer.

My Oracle doesn't have a dust cover over the chamber or a forward assist, must be an entry level .308?
I have a low cost night vision scope on it and use it for taking hogs, not afraid to get it dirty.

I voted to sell. It's not a rare or one of a kind. Easily replaced down the road if you want to get back into them and prices are as high as their going to get for a while value wise. I saw the Oracle 10s for 599 pre covid. I bet you could get $800 for it right now maybe more.
