    Update Nov 13th.

I've got another batch of ducklings for sale. Cayuga/Rouen mix; $5 each...
Best hatch rate so far. Last batch sold out before I could post

    ---------------------------------------
I've got three for sale at the moment. They are Cayuga/Rouen mix; two days old at the time of posting. $5 each...

One is a bit "special" but you can still buy it if you want to
I'll have more for sale in about 30 days.

See you're already laughing. You know you need some duck entertainment in your own backyard! The bonus is that once they mature they lay an egg nearly everyday. Extra bonus is that if you don't like them, they are really tasty themselves ;)

As someone with ducklings, I can attest that I've lost weight, am bench pressing 10% more, and am making more money at work because of them. I would get these before their gone.

On a different note, what was your hatch rate?

23% :p This batch of eggs wasn't treated the best, tho... We went on vacation for 10 days and the people keeping an eye on them for us didn't want to pick up the eggs even though I told them to eat the eggs.
So these eggs sat outside in the mud and poop in 100° heat for several day.

I'm hoping the batch currently in the incubator will be better.

23% is pretty good for the first try. I think we had 0% the first batch, and learned a lot from that one. Do you know how far along in the incubation you lost them? I checked ours every couple of days with a 750 lumen LED flashlight and can see small movements and heartbeats.

70% of them were gone after week one. Some just weren't fertile, the others went rotten. Only a couple died while developing.

I'm only using a 300 lumen flashlight. Guess I need an upgrade, lol
