Up for sale is an early war Toyo Kogyo 30th Series Type 99, made most likely in 1942. This rifle is in overall good shape, has a good bore as expected, strong chrome plating on the bolt face and has correct matching serial numbers on the bolt, safety, and bayonet lug. Stock has not been messed with and still has the nice original redish stain. Plenty of dings and dents but no significant cracks. There is one small line through the inspection mark that I am not sure if it is a crack or just a scratch, pictured below. The mum is ground and the accessories are missing as often seen, but this would make an excellent shooter Type 99.
Price is $400 FTF in the Austin area. I also have a good condition Type 30 bayonet with scabbard I would include for $120.
I am open to trades for other milsurps. Could as pair with the gorgeous Argentine 1891 I have posted as part of a trade deal.
Please feel free to ask any questions and I am happy to take more pics.
