    Looking at those on gunbroker a couple weeks ago. Lots on there. I ended up with an old model 11-48 instead.

    I understand from an insider that the new Remington owners just received their license and will once again begin manufacturing in Ilion.

    870's, 700's and 1100's for now. They're still trying to figure out the whole union thing.

    The Remington 1100 is a wise choice and I've owned a lot of them. Parts are inexpensive and places like Brownells and Midway keep them in stock. The 1100 holds the World record for shots fired without cleaning, maintenance or breakage...... over 24,000 rounds! It never did fail. They just quit testing it.

    Bought one today from Reinz. Thanks folks. It's a 30" barrel, full choke. Don't know if I can still hit a bird with a pattern that tight.
