    Looks pretty well thought out.

    Personally, I'd insert the 6" pipe into a 10" pipe and fill it with spray in expanding closed cell foam insulation... then cap on one end and a threaded plug on other too

    I often overdo things though, the cosmoline AND absorbtion packs are definitly needed, but I'd just like the extra insurance of insulation fighting condensation too.. Because I've seen what condensation can do to metals buried in PVC pipes for 5 or 10 years around Houston/Pasadena Texas..

    Bear in mind that during the first Clinton administration, it became really hard to find PVC caps because of the amount of stuff being buried. (And that was before the government showed what happens to people they don't like in Waco.)

    In wetter areas, remember that if the PVC pipe density is low enough, it could float up over a period of time.

    My suggestion would be that keeping the weapons above ground and using them to protect what's left of your rights might be more effective.
