Engrave It Houston - Anybody Use This Company?

Anybody ever used this guy in Houston to do laser engraving on their receivers?

He quoted me a price of $75 and requires a 7-10 day lead time. Seems reasonable and his work looks good.

Subscribing. I'm interested, only because I'm likely to need a lower done, but I've already got the stock attached and castle nut staked and don't want to disassemble it for places that want a stripped lower.

He was able to do all three engravings in about 1-1/2 hrs...and he did a great job.

I went to Engrave It to have some NFA engraving done. Mine was a challenging problem and we agreed that it would be better done elsewhere. His laser is not up to the job of truly laser engraving a firearm. However, other methods are available that were unsuitable to my task. The samples of engraved items in the showroom are impressive. A receiver like an AR should not pose a problem for him. Let him evaluate your request. I would rather be told that he would not do it, rather than accepting a failed attempt.

My engraving ended up being done at IDENT in Rockwall, TX. They did an excellent job every time. They do own a very high quality laser. They also have a 4 to 5 week backlog of work. I mailed the receiver to them, and they did an excellent job of keeping me updated. Don't try to schedule through the website, because it sucks.

It’s time to get this thing engraved. I will probably drive it out there to get it done and take it home.

I used Keith at NFA investments last year and would recommend him. He's a cop doing engraving as a side business and his work is excellent. I enjoyed talking to him while he did the engraving.
