The best few weeks of my life were in Portland Oregon (well beaverton) My fiance lived there and I was visiting her for about 10 days.. I really enjoyed her company, we didn't agree politically or anything but we got along swimmingly and enjoyed each other. She passed away about 5 years ago in Oregon. She was working on her masters degree at Portland State University.

Interesting story while I was up there some guy tried to sell me weed 20 feet from a cop in downtown. Just something I didn't fathom being from Texas and all. Someone in Denver at the state capital tried to do the same thing.

If that is the case, they should not blame it on "the law". And Nigiri & Sashimi are both raw fish which is served in sushi bars in Oregon.
As I explained, the process of making fish sushi and sashimi is different than cooking a salmon.

There are many laws in food service, mainly to protect the patrons from getting sick.

By the way, be careful what hamburger you use when cooking them rare or medium rare. Take a tour of a beef processing plant and you'll see why. I like my beef cooked medium rare as well, but unless I am certain a hamburger is made from ground steak, I'll take mine well done.

Beaverton is where I used to live.

It's too bad you don't know what you are talking about. They don't do ANYTHING to the fish . The difference is the quality and the freshness. Ever hear of sushi grade tuna?

It's just raw fish, and all the menus have a disclaimer about the dangers of consuming raw seafood.

You have a way of taking things out of context and trying to bend it anyway you want. Maybe if you had read what was said in that conversation you might have a better idea of the point I was trying to get across.

Thanks for the thoughts guys. In Idaho right now. Next stop Utah, then New Mexico, then Euless. It’s taking me a bit longer than normal. My 12 year old gsd needs steps to load up and some care. He was tired tonight. Crashed quick.
