ETA on DPS Approval

For those who have recently submitted a CHL application, how long is the time-frame for acceptance usually? I understand that it depends, I'm really only looking for those who have submitted one recently so I can get a better idea. Thanks

Well I dont remember the exact date I sent mine down to Austin, but its still saying they have not received info yet when I know they have it. They have had it since December 27th. At least the mail room has had it. Don't know if this helps at all.

My CHL arrived from mail off date back to my mail box in just about 5 1/2 weeks. Mailed off last week of October and received in 1st week of December.

I mailed my stuff Dec17, just this morning status change from waiting to materials recieved/background check under review.

I expect it to be in this week. I mailed off my paperwork about 6 weeks ago.

Thanks, I'll have the course completed by this Thursday, looking forward to it. I was on the fence for awhile, but I figured CHL was next on the political chopping block so I went for it.

It's running 4-6 weeks typically. I'm hitting the 1 year anniversary of my CHL, back then it was right at 42 days to arrive.
