What type of events do you all want to setup? The hard part is getting people to show up!

My original goal was one event in every major area per quarter. Mostly just range days, get togethers (socials), etc.

Not sure. maybe we do something non-shooting related like a regular Sat lunch somewhere. After members get used to each other some, it might make range days easier to set up.

Not a bad idea. Small events are fine but the big events draw the crowd. Since TGT has some local sponsors getting them involved would be a idea.

That sounds good ... we could do a New Braunfels area meet and see if we can attract people from Austin to San Antonio?

That would work, especially for a big event. BBQ and sponsor demos raffles etc

Only issue is no real venue for that sort of meet in NB.

If we are going to do a bigger meet, I'd prefer Lone Star, Bexar, or Best of the West.

I've been to meets at both, enjoyed every one of them.

I know Matt and John personally at Lone Star, they are good people and I enjoy supporting them.

I would suggest just a normal meet before you talk catering. You might end up eating alot of tacos.

Agreed with Alan, we do our big events potluck style at tgo, caterings would be ok if we had alot of people coming out.
