    I'm about to enthusiastically endorse a SloppyShooter post and, while I realize doing so may create an upsetting disturbance in The Force, in my experience...
    ...this is exactly right.

    In years past, I heard a huge number of unstable bullets in flight. A "whistle" is one way to describe the sound, though it varies. There's usually a bit of warble to the tone, too.

    Like others, I wish I could hear it in person to compare it directly to things I've heard in the past.

    I'm wondering if the issue is my barrel. It only has maybe 400 rounds through it, but it's never had this issue before
