    I concur. I'm licensed to carry a handgun and can carry an M-60 if I've got the tax stamp.
    The city ordinance was made to target gang members, but it is on the books and may be applied to anyone. I'm not placing my CHL on the line to carry a lock blade knife. Instead, I'll carry a 5" fixed blade, as it's legal.
    There IS a loophole. State law says you cannot carry (unless hunting, camping, etc) any knife OVER 5.5". The San Antonio ordinance says you cannot carry a lockback knife UNDER 5.5". Someone with cash or an attorney with some time on his hands should push the issue by being arrested for carrying a lockback knife EXACTLY 5.5". What an interesting court case that would be.
