What's everyone's favorite huntin rig? scope, caliber and rifle make and model.
I like my Ted Williams .30-.06 with a fixed 7 power scope and I like 150 gr win power point for deer and hogs. My fiance likes the muzzle loader the best no scope .50 145gr powder 300gr Hornady HP bullet.
I'll have a good pic up this weekend.

I'm currently digging my Weatherby I got last year. 30-06 with 3-9x40 Nikon. I shoot the Winchester 150gr ballistic tips. I don't have any good pics of it, but there are some crappy ones in the rifle picture thread.

Yeah, I've been meaning to pull some stuff out of the safe and update my inventory lists and take some better pictures while I'm at it, but with 2 jobs and 2 kids I keep putting it off. Now with shotgun season ramping up who knows if I'll get around to it or not.

Its a toss up for me either a FN .30-06 with Simmions 3.5-10X40 and reloads or Remington model 600 Mowhawk .243 with Bushnell Elite Hornady 58gr Vmax's

My old deer rifle that could not have been any better, a Model 92 saddle ring lever action carbine in .357 caliber, stolen by Mexican bandits in Houston years ago, can't even find another like it in as good of condition.

But I have a new .308 hog gun that I hope works out for me!

Some folks might be offended by the bayonet, but if you're hunting javelina, having a last ditch method of stopping them is a really good idea. Those things are mean!
