Bob Hope was in some great movies. Haven't seen any in a couple decades, but I need to find some.

Well, yeah, but I loved him in a Christmas movie, too - Miracle on 34th Street. He played the political power broker who counseled the judge about the pitfalls of ruling against Santa Claus.

Come to think of it, William Frawley was in a bunch of old movies and TV shows. For someone with a reputation for never wanting to rehearse and being a real jerk about it, he sure got a lot of work.

I was watching carefully to see if this movie was mentioned--it was once--but in my experience it is often NEVER mentioned:

    The Ref

A very funny movie with Denis Leary and Kevin Spacey.
