Don't know picture posting, but my first rimfire bought new was a High Standard Sentinel Deluxe 4"...blue...worked at a hardware for $1 per hour in high school and paid $41.50 for it...INcluding my employee discount. Mama had to come up and sign the book. Averaged a brick of shorts per weekend till I got minute of snake down with it...had maybe shot 2 uncles' .22s prior so me and that pistol learned together. Gave it to a good friend when I went off to boot camp, and have bought 3-4 more through the years...my current one I hope is the last one. Most reliable little revolvers made at anywhere near that price. You CAN go home again.

I've said before that my Remington 513T Matchmaster is my favorite rimfire but upon further reflection I have to say it is tied with my Beretta 70S among those that shoot 22LR. If we also consider 22 WMR, then my Henry Lever in that caliber is tied with those other two. I have around 20 rimfire pistols, revolvers and rifles so it is hard to narrow it down to just one as an overall favorite because I like all of them (except the two that are nonfunctional) almost equally. Those three though, probably edge out most of the others.

Remington 572. Hands down! So much fun to shoot. Im a huge fan of pump actions. Has the same fit and feel of a 870. Holds 22 CB shorts or 15 LR. Stupid quit with a suppressor. Easy to take apart and find parts. I highly recommend

I agree. But mine doesn't have a threaded barrel

Favorite rimfire I don't have, have wanted for years, and will probably never justify buying is the short-barrel, threaded version of the Anschutz 1727 Fortner sporter.

    It's pretty:

And this link will make it obvious why I'll never have it.

I have 2 of the Boyd's stocks. Both Savage A models. A 22lr and a .17 hmr. They really fun to shoot.
